The Messenger-Inquirer — Education Reporter
From July 2022 to present, I have worked as the Education Reporter for The Messenger-Inquirer, a newspaper owned by Paxton Media Group. The Messenger-Inquirer covers Daviess County, Kentucky, along with surrounding counties. My main focus is on education at all levels.
The Northwest News — Editor/Reporter
From July 2021 to May 2022, I worked as the Editor and Reporter for The Northwest News, a newspaper owned by KPC Media Group, LLC. The Northwest News covers the northwest region of Allen County in Indiana. I have covered a plethora of events such as Former Vice President Mike Pence's visit to school board meetings to local community events.
The McLean County News — Reporter
From November 2020 to July 2021, I worked as the sole news reporter for the McLean County News, a newspaper owned by Paxton Media Group, LLC. The McLean County News is a sister newspaper to the Messenger-Inquirer in Owensboro, Kentucky. As the reporter, I covered all events that happened in McLean County which includes city meetings, annual events and a monthly Chamber of Commerce page. Included in my duties was creating content for the Chamber of Commerce magazine and keeping in constant contact with my editor.
Warrick County Standard — Reporter
From January 2021 to June 2021, I worked as the sole news reporter for the Warrick County Standard, a newspaper owned by Paxton Media Group, LLC. The Warrick County Standard covers Warrick County, Indiana. As the reporter, I covered all events that happened in Warrick County which includes interviewing the Attorney General about the General Assembly, school/community events and expansions into the area.
Paxton Media Group, LLC. — Paginator
From May 2019 to November 2020, I was in pagination at KPC Media, LLC. I designed the news and occasional sports section for approximately 5 to 7 newspapers during my time as a designer. I worked on newspapers in the Midwest and Southern regions of the United States including in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee.
